David Giles signed up to run the London Marathon: a gruelling 26 miles of running through London with 42,000 other participants.
His aim was to raise £1750 for Phab, a charity promoting the coming together on equal terms of disabled and non-disabled people. Phab run exciting and challenging holiday projects for both disabled and disadvantaged children and young people and have 170 Phab Clubs across England with 8000 members!

And David did it! He ran the Marathon in a very respectful time of 4 hours 59.55 minutes. Huge well done David – what an amazing achievement, and all for a great charity.
