We are delighted to announce the installation of male incontinence bins at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium ahead of the 2025/26 football season. This initiative in partnership with Walsall Football Club, marks a significant step forward in supporting men’s health and improving inclusivity for all supporters.
The move supports the work of Orchid, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to male-specific cancers, including testicular, prostate, and penile cancers. With over 58,000 men diagnosed with these cancers every year in the UK, raising awareness and improving support in public spaces is more important than ever.
Male incontinence can affect people of all ages, often as a result of prostate issues, surgery, diabetes, or neurological conditions. Despite its prevalence, public venues have historically failed to provide appropriate disposal facilities in male toilets. The introduction of male incontinence bins at the stadium aims to change this — offering a clean, dignified, and discreet solution for those who need it.
Each bin will feature a hands-free, hygienic design to ensure privacy and ease of use. In addition to supporting individuals, the bins will also help safeguard the stadium’s plumbing by reducing the risk of inappropriate disposal.
This initiative is part of a broader national effort to reduce the stigma surrounding male incontinence and champion practical changes that make public spaces more accessible. The issue has recently been raised in Parliament and is increasingly backed by health organisations calling for more inclusive facilities.
We have worked closely with the club to ensure the facilities meet high standards of care, cleanliness, and discretion.
A spokesperson for Walsall FC commented: “We are committed to making the matchday experience inclusive and welcoming for every supporter. The installation of male incontinence bins is a small but significant step in helping us do just that.”
