What is your role at Hygenie

I’m a Field Service Operative.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy working at Hygenie as I get to meet lots of nice people and go to some great places. Such as famous Universities, beautiful churches and even the Royal Shakespeare Company!

What is your top recommended product?

I would really recommend Airfresh commercial air fresheners. Hygenie offer a great range of scents to choose from including fruity, spicy and floral. Customers always say how lovely the smells are.

What are 3 words you’d use to describe the team at Hygenie?

Professional, Helpful, Friendly.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I like playing golf (when time allows) and being with my Wife and Grandchildren. I enjoy watching football too – my favourite team is Aston Villa and my Wife’s is Arsenal. Our favourite place to go on holiday is Fuerteventura. We’ve been visiting for the last 7 years and have made lots of friends along the way.

Before working at Hygenie, what was the most interesting job you’ve had?

I used to play professional football for Huddersfield Town F.C. in 1979. I was given a 2 year contract there, but after one season was forced to give up due to an ankle injury. I then stepped down to non-league football playing for Alvenchurch Football Club in Worcester, followed by Moor Green F.C. in Birmingham. For a few more seasons I played Saturday football but found it hard because of my ongoing ankle injury. I then went into football management for a few more years, but gave up due to work. It was sad to say I could not do it anymore being such a lover of football!
