Our Holiday Mission … Bringing Magic to Birmingham Children’s Hospital

This festive season, we’re doing something a bit different at Hygenie, and we’re delighted to share it with you.

Instead of sending out traditional Christmas cards/gifts, we’ve decided to channel our festive spirit into becoming Magic Makers for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Our chosen sponsorship this year is Ward 10 at the Children’s Hospital.

Why Ward 10?

It’s a place where brave children recovering from neurosurgery or undergoing monitoring get the support they need.

And it’s personal for us. Lee, our operations director, experienced the emotional journey of having his son Ben, diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 3 years old. It was Birmingham Children’s Hospital that helped save Ben’s life, turning the hospital into a symbol of hope for us and Lee’s family.

By sponsoring a ward, we are helping turn the hospital into a Winter Wonderland, keeping brave children entertained and incredible staff supported as they continue their incredible work.

With the help of our sponsorship, we will be helping to provide a bag of toys for patients at Christmas or helping to purchase a life-saving piece of equipment to ensure a child can spend many more Christmases with their family.

This festive season, instead of Christmas cards/gifts, we’re sending out waves of positivity, hope, and love to the children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
