Redundant and Ineffective Equipment

During two comprehensive site surveys, Hygenie identified several issues relating to solutions and equipment that were counter-intuitive to providing a welcoming washroom experience.

Our team advised either removing and replacing the air freshener solutions for more appropriate and cost-effective alternatives.

Consumable Delivery Problems

SE Controls had regularly received incorrect paper towels that didn’t fit their dispensers, forcing them to manually cut down the rolls, a tedious and time-consuming process. There were frequent communication lapses, with no single point of contact to address their issues.

Effective Communication and Proactive Service

We resolved the consumable issues by introducing a system where SE Controls are notified several days before each service visit. This gives them the opportunity to assess their stock levels and place orders for any additional consumables, which are then delivered during the service.

“Hygenie give us several days notice of visits, allowing us to inform them if any consumables are required, and they bring these with them. We have the correct items delivered at the correct time; no over-deliveries, no running out of items,” the Health and Safety Advisor explained.

Eco-friendly Solutions

Since working with SE Controls, we have introduced environmentally friendly, non-aerosol air fresheners to replace the aerosol units. A recycling system for sanitary and offensive waste has been implemented, ensuring it did not go to landfill, aligning with SE Controls sustainability objectives.

Biggest Differences Noticed Since Switching to Hygenie
